Tell Vanguard to Support Transparency

When your retirement savings are held by Vanguard, you allow it to vote on your behalf on decisions at some of the world’s largest companies.

Unfortunately, Vanguard is voting to allow companies to continue to spend unchecked money in politics.

This November, Vanguard will hold its first shareholder meeting since the U.S. Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision, which opened the floodgates for corporations to spend unlimited secret money in our elections.

Tell Vanguard it should vote to push companies to be honest about the money they spend influencing politics and impacting policies that range from climate change and public safety to human rights and health care.

We, the undersigned, urge Vanguard to always vote in favor of political spending and lobbying disclosure proposals.
